Infection Control

Keeping our extended family of patients safe is extremely important to us.

Our own children, grandchildren, spouses, and parents are also patients. Keeping our own families, as well as our extended family of patients, safe is extremely important to us. We follow the most stringent infection control procedures as established by the Massachusetts Dental Society, American Dental Association, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDCP).

We use hospital-grade sterilizers that are regularly tested for effectiveness by an outside agency. All of our instruments and handpieces are either disposable or are placed in sterilization pouches equipped with sterilization indicators. All of our rooms are thoroughly disinfected between patients. Every surface from the patient chair to the table tops, lights, and handles are carefully treated and barrier-covered.

For our patients, we supply eye protection and barriers (such as rubber dams) as needed. Our staff always practices proper handwashing technique between patients, and disposable gloves and masks are a must. You and your loved ones are safe in our care.
